We are seeking an Account Director with proven experience in leading and growing B2B technology accounts within a Marketing & Communications agency.  As their AD you can expect to take the lead role in creating and delivering integrated marketing campaigns with passion, enthusiasm and a sense of fun.

Our client is Europe’s longest established tech-focused B2B marketing communications agency, specialising in designing and executing world class marketing solutions to enable their clients to sell more innovative products and services, including some of the biggest  names in the tech sector: Cisco, Xerox, Seagate and Orange Business Services to name a few.

Joining as Account Director you will take responsibility for contributing to the strategic direction of accounts and be a champion of creativity. Building great rapport with clients, you’ll become their trusted adviser providing expertise and advice helping to achieve objectives and maximising the client-agency relationships.

You will be an experienced and highly credible Account Director, who can demonstrate strong relationship and programme management skills, able to lead account managers and creative teams in developing and executing strategies on time, on budget and to brief. You’ll also be focused on managing the financial performance of accounts and driving excellence across the teams, to deliver outstanding solutions to clients.

To qualify... You should be an Account Director / Senior Account Manager / SAM with a passion for digital and a strong understanding of demand generation and automated lead nurturing; advertising and media services; brand, social media and product campaigns; channel marketing; and local and international deployment.  You will need to have:

  • Proven  experience  in  leading  and  growing  B2B  technology  accounts  in  an  agency environment;
  • Outstanding client skills and be acting as a “trusted adviser” to clients;
  • Skill in delivering integrated, digital marketing campaigns;
  • Proven strategic thinking capability and be a champion of creativity;
  • Excellent communications skills and the gravitas to deal at all levels;
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of quality;
  • A curious nature and a passion to learn and grow;
  • A confident practitioner and a good coach, able to bring out the best in people around you with an open and honest approach to both business and team-working;
  • A passion for results and high standards of quality;
