We are seeking a bright Sales Executive / Sales Account Executive to join the Guru team.  At Guru we help smart businesses, many of which populate the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For and Times Tech Track 100 lists, hire brilliant, inspirational talent.

Due to ongoing expansion we are now seeking an ambitious Sales Executive / Sales Account Executive to tap into new accounts and help spread the word on the great work we do.

Reporting into the Sales Director the Sales Executive / Sales Account Executive will get a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the recruitment advertising industry selling a unique and well loved advertising service. On a day-to-day basis expect to make outbound calls to new clients, update and maintain the CRM, liaise closely with Account Managers, attend client visits and much more.

With full training on offer this is the ideal opportunity for someone looking to break into the industry or with some prior sales experience already. Attitude and aptitude is more important than experience!

To qualify...   You should be a likable, intelligent and ambitious Sales Exec / Graduate Sales Executive / Business Developer, or similar, who can demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Confidence (not arrogance);
  • Resilience under pressure;
  • A savviness towards tech (Word, Outlook etc.);
  • The ability to work off your own initiative and the desire to contribute ideas;
  • A great attitude.

Any previous experience within the recruitment sector (ideally within tech, digital, marketing & creative) is advantageous as is exposure to CRM systems.
